One archipelago. Many ways to experience it.

We do not sell one rigid route. We design the one that fits you.

Galápagos planning involves more than choosing a hotel. Flights, islands, navigation time, activities, requirements and comfort all need to work together for the people traveling.

Colmundo organizes those decisions from Ecuador—whether you want a focused island stay, an expedition at sea or a broader journey through the country.

Frequently asked questions

Before choosing your route.

Every journey changes with the travelers, dates and availability.

What is the best time of year to visit the Galápagos Islands?

Galápagos can be visited throughout the year. Sea conditions, temperature, wildlife activity and the character of the experience vary by season, so we recommend dates around your interests and comfort.

Is a cruise or a land-based trip better?

It depends on your pace, budget, comfort at sea and the sites you hope to experience. Cruises integrate more navigation; land-based trips offer hotel stays and more flexibility. A hybrid can combine both.

How many days should I spend in Galápagos?

Many first-time visitors consider five to eight days. The right duration depends on island combinations, connections and activities, so we recommend it after learning your priorities.

How far in advance should I plan a Galápagos trip?

Planning early provides more alternatives, especially for school holidays, peak travel periods, groups, specific cabins and cruises with limited capacity. We always check actual availability for your dates.

How are flights to the Galápagos Islands coordinated?

Air itineraries are organized from mainland Ecuador, normally through Quito or Guayaquil depending on current routes and schedules. We can also connect transfers, accommodation and the start of your island experience.

Can you organize family and group travel?

Yes. We adapt the proposal to group size, ages, activity level, mobility needs, room configurations and interests.

Can flights, hotels and entry guidance be included?

We can coordinate flights, accommodation, transfers, excursions, cruises and pre-trip guidance. Current fees, rules and operating conditions are confirmed from official sources when you book.
